Lauren understands that abortion is an emotional and sensitive topic, and she approaches it with empathy and understanding. Lauren has never supported a total ban on abortion. Though it may seem like a divided issue, in reality there are many areas of agreement, such as exceptions for cases such as rape and incest and to protect the life and physical wellbeing of the mother. In addition, babies who survive failed abortions should be cared for and not dismissed.

Lauren’s views on this issue are rooted in compassion, and she strongly supports emergency care for women in cases of ectopic pregnancies, miscarriages, and other health complications.
